its basically meaning to become enviromentally friendly by today’s standards
It’s referring to being energy conscious. Being environmental friendly. Doing things that help perserve the earth. Global warming is affecting are climate and environment. There are things you can do, to help slow down global warming. Like watching how much energy you use. On any given day, you can find ways to cut back on energy. Shorter showers, recycle, turn off excessive lights in home. Use bio-degradeable products.
In a nut shell living in a way that helps to lessen pollution and waste.
Going Green, to me, is changing your behavior and the products/services you buy/use to generally be more environmentally friendly. Buying recycled products, using more efficient light bulbs, driving a hybrid car, etc.
I disagree with this crap, but if you like it, go nuts. I believe humans may be gone because of global warming and that garbage, but Earth itself will survive just fine.
Using less fossil fuel and not sending non-biodegradable trash to the landfills. You could start by using re-usable bags at the grocery store instead of the plastic ones (which do not degrade in the landfill) and recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
They’re all talking about smokin’ weed
Going green is to become friendly to the environment. Here are a few great websites about being environmentally friendly:
i think it means using less energy and conserving energy usage
“Going Green” is about giving up things that could harm the environment/increase or promote global warming. Using less energy and trying to use less gas and recycling are some of the “Going Green” plans.
examples of going green:
-Using energy star appliances
-using natural light as often as possible
-car pooling
-turning the thermostat down when you aren’t home
-turn the lights off when you leave a room
-make sure your home/store is energy efficient in that it is well insulated.
-reduce, reuse, recycle.
That is just to name a few
“Going Green” is when you capitulate to a bunch of panty waste globalists that are arrogant enough to think man can destroy the earth. It’s the willingness to allow organizations like the U.N. to levy taxes on the United States for being too industrious. Letting the Government tell you what kind of car to drive, what to eat, how big of a house you can have, what kind of light bulbs you can buy etc……
It makes people feel good about themselves to “go green” though, that’s all that counts.
These are the same people that wear ribbons on their car, wear bracelets that tell you how much they care. Watch the episode of South park about Hybrid cars, it points out the idiocy of these “greenies”. In 1974, Scientists concurred that we were heading into another “ICE AGE”, and the “debate was OVER”. Global warming is another vehicle for implementing “Globalism”, and these “greenies” are just the latest “Useful Idiots”. looking for a way to assuage their guilt for being what they think of as wealthy, wasteful, rotten Americans. Global Warming theories have killed more people as a result of there policies than weather related deaths. They banned DHT, the chemical that deterred Malaria, this caused the death of millions of Africans, now they find out that it’s not as bad as they thought. Freon, was thought to harm the ozone, so they had to change all kinds of shielding on the space shuttle, this is the crap you see falling off, and has killed astronauts. Cars have become smaller and smaller to conserve carbon emissions, and people are dying in these battery operated tuna cans because of no shielding.
going green means turning into a vegetarian.
if u wanna go green u’ll hav to stop eating non-veg dishes
Essentially, to “go green” is to adopt a mindset that is environmentally-conscious. The idea is that when you are eco-conscious, you will tend to make decisions that are more in tune with the environment, and live a more sustainable lifestyle. I should point out, though, that companies use “going green” in advertising to increase their profits, as is always the goal of advertising. Sometimes (often, perhaps) these companies truly are “green,” although some of them are not. However, buying green products is only part of it. It takes a change in mindset to truly “go green.”
It means a transition where people will become less dependent on burning natural gas, oil, coal, and other resources that pollute the atmosphere while turning to harnessing solar, wind, hydrogen, and other clean forms of power to run cities, towns, and transportation vehicles. Getting hybrid cars or motorcycles is a step toward going green too.
Saving money over a long period instead of short term.
